methenolone enanthate

Multiorgan reaction of delayed-type hypersensitivity with fever, skin rashes, vasculitis (including erythema nodosum as a manifestation of cutaneous vasculitis), lymphadenopathy, symptoms resembling lymphoma, arthralgia, leukopenia, eosinophilia, hepatosplenomegaly and altered liver function ( these symptoms occur in different combinations). There may also be involved methenolone enanthate and other organs (eg, lungs, kidneys, pancreas, myocardium, colon), aseptic meningitis, with myoclonus and peripheral eosinophilia, anaphylactoid reactions, angioedema, allergic pneumonitis or eosinophilic pneumonia.application of the drug to be terminated at occurrence of allergic reactions mentioned above.

rare – lupus-like syndrome, skin itching, erythema multiforme exudative (in Stevens-Johnson), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell’s syndrome), photosensitivity.

From the side of hematopoiesis:

frequent – leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, eosinophilia;

rarely – leukocytosis, lymphadenopathy, folic acid deficiency, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia, pure red cell aplasia, megaloblastic anemia, acute “intermittent” porphyria, reticulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, splenomegaly.

From the digestive system:

frequent – nausea, vomiting, dry mouth;

Not often – diarrhea or constipation, abdominal belly;

rarely – glossitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, pancreatitis.

On the part of the hepatobiliary system:

frequent – increased activity of methenolone enanthate transferase (due to the induction of this enzyme in the liver), which usually has no clinical significance, elevated alkaline phosphatase;

rarely – increased activity of “liver” transaminases;

rare – hepatitis cholestatic, parenchymal (hepatocellular) type, jaundice, granulomatous hepatitis, hepatic failure.

Cardio vascular system:

rarely – a violation of intracardiac conduction; decrease or increase in blood pressure, bradycardia, arrhythmia, atrioventricular block with syncope, collapse, worsening or development of congestive heart failure, aggravation of coronary heart disease (including the appearance or increased frequency of angina attacks), thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic syndrome.

On the part of the endocrine system and metabolism:

frequent – edema, fluid retention, weight gain, hyponatremia (decrease in plasma osmolarity due to an effect similar to the action of antidiuretic hormone, which in rare cases leads to dilution of hyponatremia, accompanied by lethargy, vomiting, headache, disorientation and neurological disorders);

rare – increase in prolactin levels (may be accompanied by galactorrhea and gynecomastia); reduction of L-thyroxine and increased tirotropnogo hormone (usually not accompanied by clinical signs); disorders of calcium-phosphorus metabolism in bone tissue methenolone enanthate osteomalacia, hypercholesterolemia (including high-density lipoprotein cholesterol), and hypertriglyceridemia lymphadenopathy, hirsutism.

With the genitourinary system:

rare – interstitial nephritis, renal failure, renal impairment (eg albuminuria, haematuria, oliguria, increase in urea / azotemia), urinary frequency, urinary retention, reduced potency.

From the musculoskeletal system:

rare – arthralgia, myalgia or cramps.

From the senses:

rare – violation of taste sensations, cataract, conjunctivitis; hearing loss, including tinnitus, hyperacusis, Gipoakuzija, changes in the perception of pitch.

violation methenolone enanthate of skin pigmentation, purpura, acne, sweating, alopecia.
